The situation

All work lived in the client's accounts, theirs from the first line. The Technical Lead held every change to the client's standards - reviewing every PR against their conventions before it shipped. The weekly written report went out every Friday: shipped, in progress, blockers, next priorities, risks, and notes from the Pod Owner - so the founder always knew where things stood without asking.
What changed
- The founder stopped writing implementation code and went back to running the company.
